Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@tzenters.com or use the Contact page if you cannot find an answer to your question.

1) When you register an account, you are able to add Kavua minyanim.

2) You are able to track all the Minyanim you created (past and current) and edit them.

3) You can get text notification when people join minyanim you create!

The main difference is that:

- a kavua minyan is a minyan you can guarantee will occur. It could be in a shul, in your office, in your store, etc. but it's guaranteed to have a minyan as shown (some are only weekdays, some weekends, some only some days of the week, some only some minyanim, etc.).

Number of mispalelim are not tracked because the minyan is guaranteed.

- a pop-up minyan is a "non-kavua" created minyan for 10 people to join. It can be at a ball game, your bungalow colony, a shiva house, etc. .

Mispalelim are tracked so those that joined can follow as others join to see if a minyan will occur

1) Blue These are regular minyanim (Kavua or pop-up) and for the pop-up minyanim, blue means less than 7 people have joined so far.

2) Orange  These ad-hoc minyanim have 7-9 people joined and can use your help to be mashlim the Minyan!

3) Green These minyanim already have 10 mispalelim committed!

4) Red These minyanim have someone who needs to say kaddish and don't yet have 10 mispalelim committed. See if you can help!

 5) "M" You'll notice some ad-hoc minyanim have an "M" on them. This means there are multiple minyanim at that location (Can be Shacharis, Mincha, Maariv or more than one of Tefila)

1) Plag awareness! If you want to create a minyan for Mincha & Maariv around Plag, simply select Mincha and check the "Plag" box. The time entered for the minyan will be set to 10 minutes before Plag. If you want to change the time, you must unselect the plag checkbox.

2) Minyan sharing! Once you've created a minyan, you'll be prompted to share! You can drop the link into Whatsapp chats, Text, Email, STATUS, etc. so others can access your minyan and click-to-join. If you are registered and confirmed your cell number, you'll be notified with a text message every time someone joins.

3) Chat! Need to make sure people bring their own siddurim? Want to make sure people know you must start on time? Want to make sure they know which gate you'll be at in the airport? Each minyan has a built-in chat where mispalelim can communicate with each other.

4) Sefer Torah For ad-hoc Shacharis minyanim on Mondays, Thursdays and Shabbos, a checkbox will appear to select if a Sefer Torah can be provided. Until the checkbox is selected by a mispalel, the Minyan will note "No Sefer Torah available yet"

5) Baal Koreh! Similarly, until someone checks the box that they can lein, it will not indicate someone is available to lein.
